Hi,
Just a quick note from me to thank you all for your support this year, it’s been a real good one. The gigs have been better than ever…not only have I played to some brilliant audiences at new venues all over the UK, but the regular gigs closer to home are still going strong…it’s always a pleasure to see the same faces coming back again and again…long may it continue!
It’s hard to believe that’s it’s almost a year since my debut album ‘Small Town Thinking’ came out…exactly this time last year I was anxiously preparing for that epic album launch show. The response to the album over the course of this year has been awesome, and I’m delighted that so many of you are enjoying it. I’ve been working on new material recently, so expect some new songs to start popping up in my sets in the New Year.
I’ve a handful of local gigs left this month, mostly with my rock trio The Perfect Strangers who will be helping me see out the year…
Thur 18th Dec – The Angel, Exeter, 9pm (SOLO)
Sat 20th Dec – The Grapevine, Exmouth, 9:30pm (THE PERFECT STRANGERS)
Sun 21st Dec – The Eyre Court, Seaton, 4pm (THE PERFECT STRANGERS)
Sat 27th Dec – The Nags Head, Lyme Regis, 9pm (THE PERFECT STRANGERS)
Check out www.adamsweetmusic.com/shows for more details, where you’ll also find all the 2015 gigs confirmed so far too.
Finally, while I’m on the subject of next year...for any of you that like your music with a country flavour and are looking for something to help beat the January blues, you should check out Midwinterfest, which is happening in Torquay Fri 16th – Sun 18th January. I’ll be playing alongside Alan West, Steve Black and Dean Barnes as resident act for the weekend, and the line up consists of a whole host of top UK Country and Americana acts including current Radio 2 favourites Ward Thomas. Take a look at www.neo-music.net/midwinterfest for full details and tickets.
That just leaves me to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I’ll see you soon…
Adam
