Hi folks, 

Hope you’re well. Plenty going on this month gig-wise, so thought I’d better let you know… 

Firstly I’m really looking forward to getting back out there with the band this month and we’ve got a few shows coming up, starting at the Sidmouth Folk Festival on the Anchor Stage this Sunday (3rd). The following Friday (9th) we’ll be in Plymouth for the Ocean City Blues N Jazz Festival on the Barbican, and we’ll be in Weston-super-Mare for a Thursday night gig at the Brit Bar on the 22nd. Finally we’ve just confirmed a special show at the Mariners’ Hall in Beer for Friday 30thAugust, which will also feature our good friend and renowned Blues slide guitar player Julian Piper. You can get tickets in advance for this one via my website here. 

As usual there are also plenty of solo gigs including the Volunteer in Sidmouth for the Folk Festival on Tuesday afternoon (6th) and a return to the Great Dorset Steam Fair at the end of the month. The residencies keep rolling on too! Here’s the full list for the month…

In other news, I’m pleased to say the new album is coming along very nicely! We had an awesome week down in Plymouth at Momentum Studios with producer Josiah Manning, and after a couple of extra vocal sessions we’re ready to start mixing. I can’t wait for you to hear it…more news on that soon!
